Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps: Large-Scale Launch of New Generation Missiles Targeting Multiple U.S. Bases
On the 6th local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that on the seventh day of the U.S. and Israel's war and aggression against Iran, Iran continued to carry out the 22nd round of military operations of "Real Commitment 4." On that day, Iran launched a large-scale attack with a new generation of missiles, implementing a diverse and extensive joint strike against U.S. and Israeli targets.
The announcement stated that Iran used various drones and precision missiles to strike the U.S. Al Dhafra Air Base in the region. In this operation, in addition to destroying the base's early warning radar, the hangars used for storing and maintaining MQ-9 drones and U-2 reconnaissance aircraft were also destroyed and are still burning. The announcement mentioned that a primary school in the city of Minab, Iran, was attacked, resulting in the deaths of 165 students, and this attack was launched from that base.
Iran also used cruise missiles and ballistic missiles to strike the U.S. Ali Al Salem Air Base, where the early warning radar and its associated facilities, aircraft fuel storage, and two airport runways were all destroyed. Thick smoke from this site can be seen throughout the region. The announcement stated that since the beginning of this round of aggression against Iran, U.S. military aircraft have been taking off from this base to drop missiles and bombs on Iranian territory.
Additionally, from the evening of the 5th local time until now, Iran has conducted two rounds of joint attacks, using suicide drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles to completely destroy the radar and air traffic control facilities, satellite stations, and fuel supply facilities at the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base.
