Iran's Revolutionary Guard Claims to Target US Forces in Kuwait
Xinhua News Agency, Tehran, July 20 - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced on the 20th that it struck multiple U.S. military targets within Kuwait on the same day.
The statement said that the Revolutionary Guard used drones to destroy a U.S. early warning radar system located in Kuwait. In another operation, Iran targeted the Ali Al-Salem Air Base of the U.S. military in Kuwait, hitting a warehouse for aircraft parts and a hangar used for parking MQ-9 drones, destroying several drones.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard wrote in the statement: "Kuwait should not become a safe haven for U.S. forces."
