Ironclad Roars, Cannon Fire Like Thunder

Recently

The 81st Group Army of the Central Theater Command organized a tank unit to conduct

full-phase day-and-night combat shooting assessments

through random guidance, random grouping

and a coherent progression of multiple subjects

to focus on testing the tank unit's ability to

respond quickly, strike accurately, and operate in coordination in unfamiliar terrain

To highlight the real combat context

the assessment team designated enemy situations and shooting targets on the spot

After the crew received ammunition, they quickly boarded the vehicle

and navigated through anti-tank ditches, earth slopes, and other obstacles

independently choosing the timing and type of ammunition for firing

crew members assessed the nature of the targets

quickly conducted range finding and aiming

and delivered firepower strikes on targets from different directions

being tested in an unknown environment

“Charge, Execute!”

Upon receiving the order

the tracks crushed the sand and gravel, kicking up clouds of dust

the crew members quickly engaged in combat

driving the combat vehicle forward

“All units, attention, enemy tank directly ahead

halt and destroy!”

With the commander's order

the driver quickly reduced speed

the gunner aimed at the tank target

the shell flew out of the barrel accompanied by rolling smoke

After the first round of shooting ended

the driver quickly drove out of the smoke area

the crew members closely coordinated

passing through craters, cliffs, and other obstacles in sequence

and launched a new round of strikes on remaining targets

This assessment was different from previous ones

as it incorporated

side shooting, reverse shooting, and other subjects during the firing process

the shooter needed to maintain stable targeting

in a violently shaking environment

which posed higher demands for crew coordination

This live-fire shooting assessment anchored on real combat standards

deeply integrated the complexity of the environment and the intensity of real combat confrontation

throughout the assessment process

effectively honing the tank unit's

capability to be ready for combat at all times and to fight in all domains

laying a solid foundation for efficiently carrying out diverse military tasks

and building an unbreakable real combat foundation
