Xinhua News Agency, Beirut, June 5 (Reporter Cao Changhao, Shen Feng) According to a report from the Lebanese National News Agency on the 5th, the Israeli military launched airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon that day, resulting in at least 13 deaths and 15 injuries.
The report stated that Israeli fighter jets and drones began airstrikes early that morning on several towns in the areas of Nabatiyeh, Bint Jbeil, and Tyre, targeting residential buildings, vehicles, motorcycles, and more. Among them, a building housing a bank branch in the Abbassiyeh area of Tyre was destroyed in the attack, injuring 12 civilians.
The report also mentioned that the Israeli military issued evacuation warnings to several towns in the Sidon and Zahle regions that day. Following the news, a large number of residents began to evacuate the affected areas.
Additionally, according to a statement released by Hezbollah on the same day, its armed personnel attacked Israeli military targets in several areas of southern Lebanon and engaged in gunfire with the Israeli military.
