Xinhua News Agency, Beirut, June 9 (Reporter Shen Feng, Cao Changhao) The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated on the 9th that Israel launched airstrikes on the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon that day, resulting in at least 8 deaths and 32 injuries.

The statement said that the Masakan community in the city of Tyre was hit by Israeli airstrikes, and the debris clearance work is still ongoing.

According to earlier reports from the Hezbollah-affiliated Lighthouse TV, Hezbollah issued a statement saying that it thwarted an attempt by an Israeli armored unit to advance in the Tyre area and forced it to retreat.
