The Israel Defense Forces stated on the 10th local time that the IDF carried out an operation in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, on the 7th, killing Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Kandil, a member of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) "Nukhba" forces.

The IDF stated that Kandil had participated in the attack on October 7, 2023, and was directly involved in the operation that resulted in the death of a commander from the IDF's "Nahal Brigade."
