Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force Deploys Long-Range Missiles in Two Locations
On March 31 local time, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force announced that it has deployed completed long-range missiles at the Kengun Garrison in Kumamoto City and the Fuji Garrison in Shizuoka Prefecture.
According to information released by the Ground Self-Defense Force, the completed "Land-Based Improved Type 12 Anti-Ship Missile" and "Island Defense High-Speed Glide Bomb" have been named "Type 25 Land-Based Anti-Ship Missile" and "Type 25 High-Speed Glide Bomb," respectively.
Residents in Kumamoto and other areas have previously requested a briefing for residents regarding the deployment of long-range missiles in the area.
