Leader of Hezbollah Claims to Continue "Defensive Combat"

According to reports from Hezbollah's Al-Manar TV, Qassem said in his speech: "We are conducting 'defensive combat' for Lebanon and its citizens; resisting aggression is a common responsibility of all people in the country, including the government, the military, the public, and all political forces."
Qassem stated that Hezbollah has made a choice between "surrendering and giving up land, dignity, and sovereignty" and "inevitably resisting." He emphasized that Hezbollah is prepared and will continue to fight.
