The Director of the News and Public Relations Bureau of the Malian Armed Forces, Maiga, said at a press conference held in the capital Bamako that the Malian Air Force carried out a total of 214 airstrikes in August, destroying 50 terrorist organization bases, 564 motorcycles, and 129 pickup trucks. The Malian military also destroyed 5 terrorist hideouts and reclaimed a gold mining site that had been occupied by terrorists.
