Reporter: According to reports, the People's Liberation Army and armed police forces, along with militia, have been fully engaged in rescue operations in Guangxi, Hubei, Gansu, and other areas recently. Please provide further details on the situation.

Chen Xi: Recently, due to heavy rain and strong winds in Guangxi, Hubei, Gansu, and other areas, there have been consecutive incidents of reservoir breaches and landslides. Chairman Xi has issued important instructions regarding flood prevention and disaster relief work. The military at all levels responded promptly and immediately engaged in rescue and relief efforts. As of now, over 2,400 personnel from the PLA and armed police forces have been dispatched, along with more than 70 boats, and over 260 vehicles and engineering equipment. Additionally, over 5,500 militia members have been organized to assist local authorities in tasks such as relocating residents, reinforcing embankments, transporting supplies, and clearing silt and drainage. Putting people first and prioritizing life is paramount. All personnel in the task force are fighting on the front lines of flood prevention and disaster relief, fully committed to safeguarding the lives and property of the people amidst the wind and rain.
