Ministry of Defense: China and Thailand to Hold "Assault-2026" Joint Army Training
On the afternoon of May 9, Colonel Jiang Bin, Deputy Director of the Ministry of Defense News Bureau and spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, released information regarding recent military-related issues.

Jiang Bin: In mid to late May, the China-Thailand "Strike-2026" joint army training will be held in Thailand. This joint exercise focuses on joint counter-terrorism in mountainous jungle environments, with both sides conducting mixed training in battlefield rescue, unmanned equipment operation, live-fire shooting, and other subjects. This is the eighth time the armies of the two countries have held this series of joint exercises, aimed at continuously deepening friendship and cooperation, and enhancing the capability for joint counter-terrorism operations.
