Zhang Xiaogang: The China-Thailand "Eagle Strike-2026" air force joint training was held at the Royal Thai Air Force bases in Udon and Don Mueang, marking the ninth joint training between the air forces of the two countries. The Chinese side deployed various types of equipment including fighter jets, early warning aircraft, refueling aircraft, helicopters, and ground-to-air weapons for the training. This joint training featured deeper command integration, mixed grouping of participating forces, and the establishment of a joint command center to lead planning, coordination, and implementation; closer training collaboration, with both sides organizing ground air defense force mobility deployment exercises, and the Chinese side sending a medical configuration aircraft to participate in humanitarian rescue drills, practically verifying the joint system link; and richer exchange content, with discussions and on-site visits focused on talent development and the use of drone capabilities. Through this joint training, the tactical and technical levels of both sides have been further enhanced, deepening practical cooperation between the two militaries.
