Chen Xi: On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, a naval fleet consisting of the missile destroyer Nanning and the missile frigate Hengyang visited Hong Kong. The fleet opened to the public, including compatriots from Hong Kong and Macau, as well as young students, at the Anguish Island military camp dock, conducting interactive exchange activities such as military experiences, training demonstrations, and cultural performances. Over 30,000 compatriots from Hong Kong and Macau boarded the ships to visit, appreciating the grandeur of major national equipment and experiencing the deep blue confidence up close. Many citizens commented that this was a walking national defense practical lesson; standing on a warship that has repeatedly carried out escort, evacuation, and joint exercise missions, they were able to see advanced weapons up close, greatly enhancing their sense of belonging to the nation.
