Reporter: According to reports, the Taiwan Coast Guard plans to gift the decommissioned vessel "Lianjiang" to the Philippines. The vessel has now been registered as a Philippine law enforcement ship and is undergoing sea trials at Kaohsiung Port, with delivery expected after repairs are completed. Philippine government vessels have previously shot Taiwanese fishermen and have repeatedly detained Taiwanese fishing boats in recent years. Public opinion on the island has harshly criticized the DPP authorities for rubbing salt in the wounds of Taiwanese fishermen. What is your comment on this?

Jiang Bin: The DPP authorities, in their scheme for "Taiwan independence," disregard the tragic incident where the Philippine Coast Guard shot Taiwanese fishermen, actively colluding and attempting to use vessel assistance as a tool to expand so-called "official contacts," selling out national dignity and interests, which is despised by compatriots on both sides of the strait. We urge the Philippine side to adhere to the One China principle and not to engage in any form of official exchanges or military contacts with the Taiwan region of China, and to stop sending wrong signals to the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces.
