New Member of the Ten-Thousand-Ton Destroyer Completes First Live-Fire Training, Footage Released
The Navy's Anqing ship, hull number 110, is the latest member of the domestically produced Type 055 missile destroyer family. Recently, this newly commissioned vessel, which has been in service with the Eastern Theater Navy for a month, headed to the East China Sea to form a fleet with various types of ships, conducting its first live-fire exercises and other combat training.
After the strike order was given, the main gun at the bow of the Anqing ship quickly locked onto the target and launched the first round of anti-ship strikes. However, the strike did not achieve the expected results. In the face of this situation, Wang Fulin, the main gun operator who had served on the Type 052C and 052D ships, remained exceptionally calm.

From the Type 052C to the Type 055, Wang Fulin has witnessed the leapfrog development of the Navy's destroyer main gun caliber becoming larger and more powerful. The new equipment not only brings firepower advantages but also poses a maximum test of the psychological quality and on-the-spot handling ability of the main gun operators.

Relying on advanced early warning detection systems, the officers and soldiers were not satisfied with completing the set tasks but actively created complex electromagnetic environments to conduct early warning detection training based on real sea and air targets.
