According to a report by Reference News Network on May 2, Agence France-Presse reported on April 29 that, according to U.S. media on the 28th, Google has reached an agreement with the Pentagon to expand the application of Google's artificial intelligence (AI) technology in confidential military operations.
The report stated that at the time of the announcement, the U.S. military was seeking to reduce its reliance on AI technology from Anthropic, as the company refused to allow its technology to be used for large-scale domestic surveillance or to create autonomous killing machines.
