Polish Military Says Delivery of "Patriot" Missiles Will Be Delayed
On October 12 local time, Polish Armed Forces Operational Commander Irenusz Nowak stated that the delivery of the "Patriot" PAC-3 missiles "will definitely be delayed," and other weapon contracts signed with the United States may also experience delays.
On the same day, during a discussion at the "Warsaw Security Forum," Nowak mentioned that due to the United States' involvement in conflicts in other parts of the world, the execution of weapon contracts signed by Poland and the Baltic states with the U.S. will be delayed, "this is particularly evident with the PAC-3 missiles of the 'Patriot' system — they will definitely be delayed."
Additionally, Nowak added that it is currently uncertain whether the contract for the HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) can be executed on time, but the current situation will certainly affect the execution of other contracts, and orders that have been planned and signed will also experience further delays.
