Qatar to Announce the Establishment of a Domestic Defense Production Center
On October 19 local time, Qatar's Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, stated at the Global Security Forum held in Doha that Qatar will soon announce the establishment of a domestic defense production center to promote the localization of its defense industry.
He mentioned that Qatar is collaborating with regional partners as well as partners from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, aiming to establish domestic defense production capabilities or to promote the development of the defense industry through investments in related enterprises.
