Xinhua News Agency Moscow/Kiev, September 16 (Reporter Hou Ming, Huang Silu) The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 16th that from the evening of the 15th to the early morning of the 16th, the Russian military launched drone attacks on Ukraine's military industrial enterprises, ports, and ships serving the Ukrainian military, including a company in Kyiv that produces special vehicles for the Ukrainian military, and a cargo ship in the port of Chernomorsk in Odesa Oblast that transports military supplies for the Ukrainian military.

In addition, Russian air defense forces intercepted and shot down 71 Ukrainian drones in several regions including Bryansk Oblast, Kaluga Oblast, Oryol Oblast, Rostov Oblast, Astrakhan Oblast, and over the Black Sea.

According to a report by the Ukrainian International News Agency on the 16th, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Ganza, stated on his social media that a Russian drone struck a passenger bus in the Nikopol region, resulting in 5 deaths and at least 7 injuries.
