Russia claims a tanker in its territorial waters was hit by a Ukrainian drone.
The spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Peterlyanko, stated on the 16th that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the Ukrainian military's attack on civilian facilities in the Krasnodar Krai. Peterlyanko noted that, in addition to the reported attack that morning which resulted in the deaths of two people in the port city of Tuapse on the Black Sea coast and damage to several residential buildings and a kindergarten, a tanker flying the flag of Liberia in Russian territorial waters was also hit by a Ukrainian military drone, injuring the Turkish captain who was taken to the hospital.
