The head of the Zaporizhzhia region appointed by Russia, Balitsky, reported on the 23rd that the region's energy facilities were attacked by Ukrainian forces and have switched to backup power supply. Some facilities pose an explosion risk and require coordination with the Russian military before repairs can be made.

He also stated that the city of Vasilyevka was shelled, with a shell exploding in the courtyard of a multi-story residential building, damaging the building's outer walls, surrounding areas, and parked vehicles, but there were no casualties.
