Russia claims the UK has transferred "Storm Shadow" cruise missile technology data to Ukraine.

On August 27, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova stated at a weekly briefing that, according to information held by the Russian side, the UK has transferred technical data for the independent assembly of "Storm Shadow" cruise missiles to Ukrainian enterprises. She also pointed out that French President Macron had announced a similar technology transfer plan, but it has not yet been implemented. Public information shows that the "Storm Shadow" is jointly developed by the UK and France.

Zakharova believes that by transferring the missile assembly function to Ukraine, the UK and France are evading responsibility for striking deep into Russia. She stated that the Russian side has repeatedly warned that in response to Ukraine using British weapons to strike Russian territory, Russia may target any military facilities and equipment of the UK both within and outside Ukraine.

Zakharova also called on the UK leadership to abandon its hostile course, stating that this path could escalate the conflict to a new level. She noted that the UK, France, and Germany are "adding fuel to the fire" of the Ukrainian crisis. (Reporter: Hao Wei, CCTV)
