On October 3 local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian military continued to use drones to strike Ukrainian infrastructure and maritime vessels supporting the Ukrainian military in the early hours of the day.

The report stated that in Kyiv, the North Road Bridge over the Dnieper River was hit; this bridge is used for the movement of Ukrainian military troops and the transportation of military supplies. In Kyiv Oblast, a logistics center was struck, which stores supplies for the Ukrainian military. Additionally, a cargo ship transporting supplies to the port of Odesa was hit in the northwestern Black Sea.

On the 3rd, Ukrainian sources reported that a Russian jet drone attacked the North Bridge in Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Klitschko reported that the road surface of the North Bridge and the contact network for the trolleybus were damaged, and traffic from the left bank of Kyiv to the right bank has been temporarily closed.
