Russia claims Ukraine violated Easter ceasefire agreement, attacking Kherson region.
On April 11 local time, the acting mayor of Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region, appointed by Russia, Oganesov, stated that the Ukrainian armed forces violated the Orthodox Easter ceasefire agreement and attacked the city, resulting in one civilian being injured.

On the 9th local time, according to the Kremlin, Russian President Putin announced the decision for a ceasefire during Orthodox Easter. The ceasefire is set to begin at 16:00 Moscow time on April 11 (21:00 Beijing time) and last until midnight on April 12 (05:00 Beijing time on April 13).
Ukrainian President Zelensky posted on social media early on the 10th, stating that in response to Russia's earlier announcement of a 32-hour ceasefire during Orthodox Easter, Ukraine would implement a reciprocal ceasefire.
