According to Kots' information, in the past day, the Russian military used the "Geranium-2 Seeker" attack drone to destroy five locomotives. These drones are capable of autonomously searching for and detecting targets even when the enemy attempts to conceal them and when electronic warfare systems are operational.
Kots explained that the "Seeker" is an improved version of the standard "Geranium-2." He stated that this drone is equipped with optical components, thermal imaging devices, and a self-guidance system. Therefore, this suicide drone can autonomously identify targets and maintain tracking until impact.
The first report about the "Seeker" appeared on June 21. At that time, the Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that near a settlement in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, these drones carried out a series of precision strikes on an oil depot that was supplying fuel to vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
