Xinhua News Agency, Riyadh, September 17 (Reporter Luo Chen) The General Directorate of Civil Defense of Saudi Arabia stated on the 17th that a drone launched by the Houthi armed group from Yemen was intercepted and destroyed in the western Saudi city of Taif on the same day, with debris falling and resulting in 1 death, 2 injuries, and damage to several buildings and some vehicles.

The statement said the deceased was of Yemeni nationality, and the two injured were of Saudi and Pakistani nationalities, with the Pakistani injured person in serious condition.
