Saudi Civil Aviation Authority: Riyadh Airport Suspended Operations After Attack, Multiple Injuries
On October 10 local time, the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia issued a statement saying that in the afternoon, King Khalid International Airport in the capital Riyadh was attacked again, resulting in multiple injuries, and the casualty situation is still being assessed.
The statement noted that, in light of the recent ongoing attacks on Saudi civil aviation facilities, relevant departments have temporarily suspended operations at King Khalid International Airport to complete damage assessments and check the safety of airport facilities.
The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation stated that it is coordinating with relevant departments to carry out related work, and further updates will be announced separately.
