The Air Force August 1st Flying Display Team Successfully Completed the Task at the 10th Singapore Airshow and Returned Home via Aerial Refueling "One-Stop"

According to relevant departments of the Air Force, on the afternoon of the 10th, the August 1st Air Demonstration Team, which successfully completed its mission at the 10th Singapore Airshow, flew back to a domestic airport from Singapore's Changi Airport with the support of a Y-20 tanker, after aerial refueling.

This is the second time the August 1st Air Demonstration Team has performed in Singapore, and it is also the team's first public appearance in Singapore after transitioning to the J-10C. During the exhibition, the August 1st Air Demonstration Team danced in the blue sky alongside aircraft from multiple countries, completing five flight sessions including adaptive training, verification flights, and flight demonstrations. They showcased synchronized rolls with a six-aircraft formation, a five-aircraft echelon pass, a four-aircraft line pass, and a five-aircraft level upward bloom, earning widespread acclaim from the audience.

In addition, the August 1st Air Demonstration Team engaged in military cultural exchanges with foreign flight demonstration teams and organized pilots to interact enthusiastically with the audience in the viewing area, singing "My Motherland and I" at the airshow site, fully demonstrating the open, confident, and friendly posture of the Chinese Air Force.

After the August 1st Air Demonstration Team arrived over a domestic airport, the airport held a warm welcome ceremony for the returning team, and family members also came to the ceremony to present flowers to the pilots, sharing in their joy and reunion.

"In the 64 years since its establishment, the demonstration team has conducted over 800 flight performances for more than 800 delegations from over 180 countries and regions. We adhere to rigorous ground training and precise aerial flying, striving to fulfill the mission of 'national gifts and blue sky ceremonies,'" said Li Bin, the captain of the August 1st Air Demonstration Team. He added that they will fully summarize the experience gained from this overseas exhibition, continuously optimize the choreography of their performances, and keep enhancing the level of flight demonstrations, continuing to build a bridge of friendship that conveys peace with colorful flight trails.
