The Israel Defense Forces stated on April 2 local time that since the war with Iran has led to an escalation of conflict, the Israeli military has killed approximately 1,000 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah armed group in Lebanon, including hundreds of members of Hezbollah's elite unit, the "Radwan Unit."

The Israeli military reported that in the past day, Hezbollah fired about 130 rockets into Israeli territory. Most of the rockets were intercepted or landed in open areas, but some did hit Israeli cities, causing minor injuries and property damage.
