The Israeli army claims to have killed several Hezbollah commanders in the past two weeks.
The Israel Defense Forces stated on the 28th local time that over the past two weeks, a series of airstrikes and targeted operations have been carried out against Hezbollah in Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of several key commanders in Hezbollah's core areas. The IDF claims that these individuals were responsible for commanding Hezbollah's military operations and planning attacks against the IDF and Israel.
The IDF announced the names of 7 key Hezbollah members who were killed, including the commander of the Hiyam area, the assistant to the deputy commander of the Badr forces, an intelligence officer in the Shakif area, as well as engineering heads and area commanders from regions such as Yahmur and Juwaya.
The IDF also stated that since the initiation of the Israeli operation "Roaring Lion" against Iran, approximately 2,500 Hezbollah militants have been killed, with about 800 of them dying after the ceasefire took effect.
