The preparations for the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum are basically ready.
On September 8, Xinhua News Agency reported from Beijing (by Jia Shuyi and Li Jiaqi) that during the media briefing for the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, it was announced that this year's forum will be held from September 15 to 17 at the Beijing International Conference Center, and all preparatory work is basically ready.
Colonel Li Fei, Director of the Office of the Chinese Society of Military Science, introduced that this forum has widely invited defense departments and military leaders from multiple countries, heads of international and regional organizations, as well as high-level experts and scholars to participate, further enhancing the balance and representation of the attendees. During the forum, the 4th China-Africa Peace and Security Forum will be held concurrently, achieving resource coordination, topic resonance, and shared outcomes.
This year's forum is themed "Building Consensus for Stability and Promoting Security Governance Together," featuring 4 plenary sessions and 8 parallel thematic discussions. In addition, the forum will also host high-level interviews, closed academic meetings, and dialogues between renowned Chinese and foreign experts, further enriching the forms of exchange and deepening mutual learning between China and other countries.
