The Russian Ministry of Defense claims to have continued strikes on Ukrainian logistics centers and port facilities.
On October 6, Xinhua News Agency reported from Moscow (Reporter Huang He) that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian Armed Forces have continued to use drones to strike Ukrainian port facilities, Ukrainian military logistics centers, and maritime vessels serving the Ukrainian military.
The report stated that the Russian military hit an ammunition depot in Ukraine's Odessa region, a dock facility used for loading and unloading military supplies, and a cargo ship transporting dual-use goods for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, from the evening of the 5th to the morning of the 6th local time, Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 868 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over multiple locations.
On the 6th, Moscow Region Governor Vorobyov posted on social media that the large-scale drone attack by Ukraine has resulted in 2 deaths and 9 injuries in Moscow Region.
