Xinhua News Agency, Washington, April 1 - U.S. President Trump posted on social media on April 1 that Iran has "just requested a ceasefire from the United States," but the U.S. side will only "consider" it when the Strait of Hormuz is open.
In the post, Trump wrote: "The President of Iran... has just requested a ceasefire from the United States. We will not consider it until the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, free, and open. Before the Strait is open, we will bomb Iran to ashes, or as they say - bomb them back to the Stone Age!!!"
There has been no response from the Iranian side regarding this.
