Xinhua News Agency, Washington, October 10 (Reporter Liu Guoyuan, Yang Ling) - U.S. President Trump stated on the 10th that the United States may join Saudi Arabia in its operations against the Houthi forces in Yemen and will "make a decision as soon as possible."

Before departing for Tennessee to attend a Republican voter rally, Trump told reporters at the White House that he is assessing whether the U.S. should join Saudi Arabia in its operations against the Houthi forces. He said, "We may do that," adding, "We just learned of the recent attacks, so we will make a decision as soon as possible."

Recently, the Houthi forces have repeatedly attacked airports and oil facilities within Saudi Arabia.
