The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the same day that strikes were carried out on Ukrainian drone-related facilities.

Zelensky said that the Russian military launched a total of 24 ballistic missiles, 4 "Zircon" hypersonic missiles, and cruise missiles, as well as 115 drones, some of which were jet-powered drones. Zelensky noted that the main targets of the Russian military were local private enterprise warehouses, infrastructure, and train stations.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the 5th that from the night of the 4th to the early morning of the 5th, the Russian military used ground-based precision weapons and long-range attack drones to carry out large-scale strikes on logistics and distribution centers in Kyiv city and Kyiv region used for the production, storage, and transportation of drone components.
