Ukraine's Kyiv Attack Has Resulted in 18 Deaths
The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office reported on the 2nd that as of 12:40 PM that day, the Russian military's attack on Kyiv had resulted in 18 deaths.
Ukrainian Interior Minister Klymenko stated on social media that "more than 20 residential buildings" in the city of Kyiv had been attacked, and rescue personnel were conducting operations at 15 locations. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on social media that the agency had organized over 500 rescue personnel and 96 sets of equipment for the search and rescue operation.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on the 2nd that from the evening of the 1st to the early morning of the 2nd, the Russian Armed Forces used long-range precision-guided air-based, land-based, and sea-based weapons, as well as attack drones, to launch a large-scale strike on military industrial facilities and fuel energy complexes in Kyiv city and Kyiv region.
