Ukrainian capital Kyiv hit by airstrikes, multiple explosions heard
On June 18, Xinhua News Agency reported from Kyiv (Reporter Li Dongxu) that the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tkachенко, posted on social media early in the morning on the 18th, stating that the Russian military is launching a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, reminding citizens to seek shelter in safe places until the air raid alert is lifted.
Between 1:25 and 1:27 AM that day, Xinhua reporters in Kyiv heard air raid sirens and multiple strong explosions.
