Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, July 16 (Reporter Li Dongxu) At around 0:46 to 1:00 local time on the 16th, Xinhua reporters heard two rounds of intense explosions in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. The reporters saw two missiles explode in the air.

The Ukrainian Air Force stated on social media that the Russian military launched four ballistic missiles at Kyiv.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko later posted on social media that a non-residential building in the Darnytskyi district was hit by missile debris, and a warehouse in the Sviatoshynskyi district was attacked.
