图尔克当天在苏丹东部城市苏丹港表示，对关键民用基础设施的袭击严重违反国际人道主义法，可能构成战争罪。他敦促冲突各方立即停止针对市场、医院、学校和难民收容所等民用设施的攻击，并为平民自由通行提供安全通道。
2023年4月15日，苏丹武装部队与快速支援部队在首都喀土穆爆发武装冲突，战火随后蔓延至其他地区。持续两年多的武装冲突已造成苏丹近3万人丧生。据联合国近期发布的数据，苏丹约5000万人口中，超过1170万人流离失所，3000多万人急需人道主义援助。（总台记者 赵远方）
