U.S. Media Exposes Active Duty U.S. Military Personnel's Submitted Photos: Iranian Attacks Cause Severe Damage to U.S. Bases in the Middle East

CBS stated that these photos were anonymously sent to the media by active-duty U.S. military personnel. "Our base has suffered severe damage, but the American public is completely unaware," described a U.S. service member stationed abroad regarding the attack, saying, "It's like we took a heavy punch with our eyes closed."

A new report released by the U.S. Department of Defense's oversight agency on September 14 shows that the conflict with Iran has caused significant losses to U.S. military bases and diplomatic facilities in the Middle East, with at least hundreds of buildings and other facilities damaged, and over 50 U.S. military aircraft damaged or destroyed.

According to U.S. media reports, this report from the Department of Defense Inspector General covers the losses incurred by the U.S. from February 28, when the U.S. and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran, to June 30. This is the Pentagon's first formal report on the losses of U.S. equipment and facilities during this conflict. The report states that under Iranian military strikes, U.S. diplomatic facilities in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE suffered approximately $184 million in damages.
