参考消息网1月19日报道 据新加坡《联合早报》网站1月18日报道，伊拉克政府17日表示，美军已从伊拉克西部安巴尔省的阿萨德空军基地全部撤出，伊拉克军方全面接管该基地。
伊拉克国防部17日在一份声明中说，在美军撤离、伊军接管后，伊拉克武装部队总参谋长亚拉拉视察了阿萨德空军基地。他指示各驻防部队加强协调与合作，强化联合行动。
美军方面未就此次撤离发表任何声明。
阿萨德基地是伊拉克第二大空军基地，也是美国主导的打击“伊斯兰国”(IS)国际联盟部队在伊拉克驻扎的主要基地之一。
华盛顿和巴格达于2024年达成协议，将于2025年9月前逐步解散由美国领导的打击伊拉克境内IS的联盟。2025年10月，伊拉克官员称，由于“叙利亚局势的发展”，美军在阿萨德基地保留一支有数百人的顾问和安保团队。现在，所有美军人员均已撤离。
