On the evening of October 11 local time, the Houthi armed group in Yemen issued a statement claiming that in the past 24 hours, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched 124 airstrikes on the Yemeni capital Sana'a as well as in Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Al-Hudaydah, and Saada. Since the new round of escalation began on September 3, the total number of Saudi airstrikes on Yemen has reached 2,058.

The statement said that in the past 24 hours, the Houthi armed group has conducted four rounds of military operations using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones targeting sites within Saudi Arabia.

The first round of operations targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital Riyadh, causing a disruption and complete shutdown of airport operations.

The second round of operations targeted the Shuqaiq gas facility of Saudi Aramco in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

The third round of operations struck the Tanajib oil field facility, also located in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The statement claimed that the last two attacks hit their targets and caused large-scale fires.

The fourth round of operations targeted King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, eastern Saudi Arabia, with the statement indicating that the attack led to a disruption of airport aviation operations.

The statement also mentioned that the Houthi armed group used six ballistic missiles and two drones to attack two military targets of the Saudi-led coalition in Al-Jawf province within Yemen, resulting in dozens of casualties. Additionally, the Houthi armed group claimed to have used several domestically produced (Houthi-manufactured) surface-to-air missiles to intercept multiple Saudi warplanes, forcing them to retreat.

The statement said that the aforementioned military actions are a response to Saudi Arabia's recent increase in airstrikes on Yemen. It accused Saudi airstrikes of causing numerous civilian casualties, including women and children.

The statement once again warned global airlines as well as experts, personnel, and travelers from around the world not to fly to Saudi airports, stating that all Saudi airports and airspace are unsafe except for those in the regions of Mecca and Medina.

Finally, the statement indicated that the Houthi armed group will continue to escalate military operations against deep Saudi territory, insisting on responding to blockades with blockades, escalating in response to escalations, and continuing to strike Saudi military buildup forces until Saudi Arabia ceases its military actions against the Houthi armed group and lifts the blockade on Yemen.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia issued a statement early on the 11th, saying that King Khalid International Airport in the capital Riyadh was attacked on the 10th, resulting in 12 deaths and 309 injuries. (Reporter Zhang Yuchen from the Central Broadcasting Station)
