Yemen's Houthi forces claim to have attacked Saudi oil facilities and its supported military targets
Xinhua News Agency, Kuwait City, November 7 (Reporter Yin Zhao) - Sana'a reports: The Yemeni Houthi armed group stated on the 7th that it used ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones to carry out six military strikes against Saudi Arabian oil facilities, international airports, and Saudi-supported military positions within Yemen, resulting in casualties among Saudi soldiers.
The military spokesperson for the Houthi armed group, Yahya Saree, issued a statement through the group's controlled Masirah TV, saying that the first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as well as oil storage tanks and distillation towers belonging to Saudi Aramco located in the city.
Saree stated that the remaining operations targeted facilities of Saudi Aramco in the Al-Huraiz area east of Riyadh, the No. 8 oil pumping station in the Dawadimi area of central Saudi Arabia, a gathering site for Saudi troops at a camp in Najran in southern Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi-supported Yemeni government forces gathered in the northern province of Al-Jawf and the northeastern province of Marib.
Saree indicated that the aforementioned actions were a retaliation for previous Saudi attacks within Yemen, including an attack earlier on the 7th on residential areas in the Bani Hushaysh region of Sana'a province and an attack on the Hadara market in the Waziya area of Taiz province on the 6th.
