On May 14 local time, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant officially reported that drones from the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an attack on the area surrounding the nuclear power plant. Two staff members who were driving on official duty were injured by an explosion 100 meters from the plant's fence.

The report stated that the two individuals have been sent to a medical facility and are receiving necessary assistance.

The report emphasized that such actions pose a direct threat to the life and health of personnel working in nuclear infrastructure, and that nuclear power plant employees should not become targets of attacks. The safety of employees and the stable operation of the plant must be an unconditional priority. Such attacks are acts of "terrorism."
