Zelensky Claims to Implement Long-Range Strikes Against Russia
Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, June 14 (Reporter Li Dongxu) - Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on social media on the 14th that in response to Russia's refusal to ceasefire, Ukraine launched long-range strikes on the Russian regions of Yaroslavl and Tula from the evening of the 13th to the early morning of the 14th.
Zelensky mentioned that the Ukrainian Security Service targeted an oil facility in Yaroslavl, located 700 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, and the Ukrainian military struck the Azot chemical plant in Tula.
According to media reports, the Azot chemical plant primarily produces mineral fertilizers, ammonia, nitric acid, methanol, and other chemical raw materials, and also supplies raw materials for military factories used in the production of explosives and ammunition.
