Xinhua News Agency, Kyiv, October 7 - Ukrainian President Zelensky said on the 7th that the Russian military launched attacks in multiple locations in Ukraine that day, resulting in at least 11 deaths and 26 injuries.

Zelensky stated on social media that the Russian military attacked a residential building in the city of Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, causing 5 deaths and 26 injuries. In addition, the Russian military also launched attacks in Dnipro city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Kremenchuk city in Poltava Oblast, and Kyiv city, resulting in at least 6 additional deaths.

Zelensky also mentioned that the ballistic missiles launched by Russia pose a significant challenge to Ukraine, and that air defense systems are "vital" for Ukraine. He hopes that relevant countries can provide Ukraine with "Patriot" missiles.
