Zelensky: Ukraine Will Exchange Interceptor Drones for "Patriot" Missiles
According to a report by the Ukrainian News Agency on March 5, Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that he is willing to cooperate with Middle Eastern partners to exchange interceptor drones for "Patriot" missiles.
In an interview with Italian public broadcaster RAI, Zelensky mentioned that Middle Eastern partners possess "Patriot" missiles, but the cost of using missiles to shoot down drones is too high, and there is a greater need for interceptor drones, which Ukraine has. He said that Ukraine has received signals from Middle Eastern partners expressing their desire to obtain Ukraine's "expertise," and Ukraine is open to technical exchanges and arms swaps.
Zelensky also stated that due to the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine has proposed to the United States to change the location of the trilateral talks with the U.S. and Russia and to postpone the talks for a period of time.
