"Zhejiang Public Fishing Transport 88667, Help! Help!" Navy Yangzhou Ship Emergency Rescue

On the evening of March 12, the Navy's Yangzhou ship completed its mission and was returning to port. Suddenly, a frantic distress call came through the very high frequency radio: "Zhepu Fishing Transport 88667, help! Help!" The watch officer quickly reported this, and at 22:30, the commander ordered the launch of a small boat, with all crew members making full preparations for the rescue operation.

Two minutes later, the small boat was in the water. Upon reaching the vicinity of the distressed fishing vessel, the rescue personnel seized the opportunity to provide assistance. After confirming that all individuals were rescued, they immediately organized the small boat to return. Once back alongside the ship, the Yangzhou ship quickly organized military doctors to provide medical treatment. The next morning, the Yangzhou ship slowly entered the harbor and docked. The task force, in coordination with the Zhoushan city government and the fishing company, promptly transported them to the hospital. As of now, the fishermen are in good condition, emotionally stable, and have safely returned home.
