以色列称将加速生产“箭”式拦截弹

Israel's Ministry of Defense issued a statement on April 6, announcing that it will accelerate the production of interceptors used in the "Arrow" missile defense system and "prepare for the changing battlefield conditions." Israeli Defense Minister Katz stated in the announcement that Israel currently has "sufficient" interceptors to protect its citizens, and the acceleration of production aims to ensure "sustained operational capability."

The multi-layered defense system developed by Israel includes the "Arrow" system for intercepting long-range ballistic missiles, the medium-range air defense system "David's Sling," the short-range air defense systems "Iron Dome" and "Iron Beam." Among them, the "Arrow" system, jointly developed with the United States, is the mainstay for countering Iranian ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. The "Arrow-2" interceptor can engage targets both inside and outside the atmosphere, while the "Arrow-3" interceptor is responsible for intercepting threats outside the atmosphere.
