According to Variety, after the screening, the audience stood and applauded for nearly 25 minutes. The media stated that this set a record for one of the longest applause durations at the Venice Film Festival and even among major film festivals worldwide.

The film's title comes from an abbreviation used by the Israeli military, referring to civilian casualties expected to occur alongside military strikes. The film was produced in collaboration with The Guardian and includes numerous testimonies from Israeli intelligence officials and soldiers who personally participated in monitoring and remote attack operations against Palestinian civilians.

Interviewees detailed the secret methods employed by the Israeli military in Gaza, including the use of artificial intelligence systems to identify a large number of low-level targets potentially associated with Hamas, and subsequently choosing to bomb the residences of these individuals at night, despite knowing that such attacks would also result in the deaths of the target's family members.

Reports indicate that several interviewees were part of a secret intelligence department that reported directly to the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. One individual stated that the mission of their department was to "obstruct the peace process."

The Guardian noted that the Israeli military locates the positions of target individuals by hacking into their mobile phones and even listens in on conversations between the target and their wife and children before the target's family is harmed. The film also includes testimonies from those who experienced the events: the Israeli military was aware that up to 25% of residents might still be sheltering in certain neighborhoods, yet still chose to destroy entire blocks.

Since Israel launched its offensive against Gaza in 2023, over 73,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, the vast majority of whom are civilians; more than 174,000 others have been injured. The total number of casualties exceeds one-tenth of Gaza's pre-war population.
